Enhanced Team Gathering Spot
The team meeting location will be relocated to the grassy area where the rest of the tenting and activities are taking place. Look for the designated area inside of the team gathering spot to create your own teams banners and signs.
Sponsor and Mission Expo
This tent will feature our sponsors, vendors, educational and advocacy information about colon cancer. Participants will be able to share a personal message of ”Why I Get My Rear in Gear” on the large white banners covering the outside of the tent.
Kids can enjoy the incredible performance of Radio Disney this year. There will also be a special opportunity inside the Kids Pavilion, for kids to decorate their very own memento to be place in the Fountain of Hope area. Volunteers will assist as needed in helping them craft personal messages in support of a loved one.
Get Your Rear in Gear “Warm Up and Shake Up”
Join us for a lively pre-run/walk warm up on the Please Touch Steps that takes all willing participants through a light stretch and warm up routine
Fountain of Hope
We will create a peaceful, respectful atmosphere for individuals and teams to spend a few quiet, reflective moments to remember a loved one lost and to celebrate hope for the future. Get Your Rear in Gear Philadelphia Fountain of Hope (also known as the Welsh Fountain in front of Memorial Hall). Look for the large white “HOPE” kite balloons where you can place your blue ribbon with a personal message of hope for a loved one. Kids can create their very own memento in our Kids Pavilion to be placed in the area as well.
