The Charlotte Get Your Rear in Gear 5K was a resounding success! Over 1,800 runners, joggers and walkers took to the streets of Charlotte, NC, to raise money for colon cancer education, screening and support.
The third annual event caught the attention of the Charlotte Observer, who sent a reporter and photographer to the race. The story by Celeste Smith highlighted the success of the race and how the money is used to assist colon cancer patients in the Charlotte-area.
