    My family came back for a 2nd year. We had a wonderful time remembering everyone in our family who has dealt with this disease and feel like there is something we can do to make a difference and not feel so powerless.

    Last September I received my diagnosis of colon cancer. This September after 2 surgeries I was able to run in my first 5k ever for The Weehawken boys. Thank you Colon Cancer Coalition for giving us an opportunity to set a goal of running and fundraising for the cause. Look forward to participating with my family and friends for many years to come.

    awesome day, so many people, so many children. I’m 11 year survivor and I wanted to shout that out to help others but I proudly wore my survivor tag and sometimes sadly looked for others wearing the same.
