Colon cancer is one of the most common forms of cancer.

Although it is the second leading cause of cancer deaths in the United States, it’s not often talked about. Understanding the disease is important both for those who have been diagnosed with it as well as those trying to prevent it.

From Awareness to Action: How We’re Making a Difference

The Problem

Lives are being cut short by colon cancer, and many of these deaths could be prevented through early detection and screening.

Colorectal cancer is currently the no. 2 cancer killer and is estimated to be the no. 1 cause of cancer-related deaths for those under 50 by 2030.

How We Help

We raise awareness and funds nationwide through our signature Get Your Rear in Gear 5K Run/Walk series, National Tour de Tush Bike Ride, and Community Events put on by passionate volunteers like you!

The Impact

The money raised at each event stays local to prevent early deaths by increasing screening rates, reducing health disparities, educating the community, supporting local patients and survivors, and funding research.

Signs & Symptoms

Colon cancer symptoms can be confusing. Common stomach ailments or a change in bowel habits are common occurrences. However, they don’t always mean that you have a serious condition such as colorectal cancer.  Learn about the symptoms. Contact your provider when symptoms persist, or more than one symptom is present.
