Hot off recognition from the American College of Gastroenterology for a Scopy Award, we are also humbled to be honored as a HEALIO Disruptive Innovators 2021 Patient Voice.
This recognition goes to a patient advocate or advocacy group that moves the needle on a disease in regard to discussion in the public sphere, better communication between patients and providers, and/or advocacy for legislative or regulatory action. The is recognized by physicians as a resource for patients and/or an equal in discussion of the disease state.
For 16 years, we have encouraged the world to “Get Your Rear in Gear” and today we are proud to dedicate our work to raise screening rates via support for screening programs and community-based events that drive home the importance of screening.
As a part of this recognition we want to honor and thank Kristin Lindquist our founder for setting the course for the organization nearly two decades ago, as well as all of the countless volunteers who have been a part of our grassroots movement.
