What is your weather policy?

Get Your Rear in Gear & Tour de Tush events take place rain or shine.

In case of severe weather (lighting, tornadoes, hurricanes, blizzards, etc.), event staff will monitor weather conditions in advance and make the best decision based on available weather information.

Colon Cancer Coalition staff and local event directors will work with contracted race timing/ management companies to assess severe weather situations as they occur.

In the situation of severe weather prior to the start of an event, participants will be notified of any cancellations via email, as well as on the event-specific webpage and all appropriate social media channels. However, in most situations, cancellations will not be announced in advance but rather be made on race day at the race site. We strongly recommend participants make decisions based on what is best for themselves and their families.

Weather conditions will be recognized as “an act of God” and will not result in the refunding of entry fees or credits for future events.
