Survived by: Wife, Claudia Iliff; Children: George Iliff, Jr. (Patsy), Cindy Pair (Rodney), Chris Vick, Jo Stacy, Nicole Bohnsack (Joel), Deke Stacy (Julietta); Grandchildren: Ashley Kendrick (Jonathan), Kari Hollingsworth, Kevin Pair, Alex Pair, Scott Vick (Carolyn), Allison Usher (Jeff), Marshall Stacy, Ivan Stacy, Torren Stacy, Imari Stacy; Nine great-grandchildren; Father and mother-in-law, Douglas and Shirley Hobbs; Special friends, Bill and Willie Branch. Preceded in death by wife, Ruth Lee Iliff, parents, Harry and Evelyn Iliff.
George was diagnosed with colon cancer and fought a good fight for 5+ years. He passed away at age 72. He was a great man with a big heart and a strong will to never show any weakness. He battled the big “C” like a champ! He liked to golf, shop, and visit with friends.
He was great at taking care of those he loved and some that couldn’t take care of themselves. We loved how he made all of us smile. He was devoted to the military, his church, his family and friends.
He is missed and thought of often with smiles and great memories!
