Lisa Z and Michelle Lang are the authors of The Power of Positive Potty Pondering: Bathirmations, a book all about the art of letting go. Their goal is to encourage readers to take advantage of daily rituals and “let go” of both emotional and physical impurities that may be holding them back. Through this book, they hope to provide inspiration, humor, and great advice.
Their true passion is helping others and volunteering in their communities. Lisa’s job as a spiritual and life empowerment coach has driven her belief that our thoughts and emotions affect our emotional and physical health. Michelle has spent part of her life living abroad, making her a firm believer that everyone is on a similar journey and everybody should be treated with the same amount of respect.
Lisa and Michelle describe how important The Power of Positive Potty Pondering is to help bring awareness to digestive health while providing humor at the same time. “Everybody seems to be too busy to focus on their own wellbeing! Life, work, and everything else gets in the way for self-reflection and alone time. This book is important to us because it flushes the ‘no time’ excuse right down the toilet! We advocate changing lives ‘ONE POTTY AT A TIME.’ But more so, we believe it’s critical to not only be conscious of your emotional health, but your physical health as well. We shouldn’t feel uncomfortable or embarrassed to talk about one of our body’s most natural functions. It is not a secret that we all use the bathroom and that early preventative action could save your life. We need to talk about it. And we need to be aware of the signs and symptoms of colon cancer.”
With this as their mission, they are generously donating a portion of the proceeds from the sales of this book to the Colon Cancer Coalition to help us further our mission of increasing screening and awareness. Thank you Michelle and Lisa for your support!
