Colorectal cancer affects all people regardless of their gender, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, race, ethnicity, religion (or lack thereof), or economic status. We expect all participants, volunteers, staff, sponsors, and vendors make all people in attendance at a Colon Cancer Coalition event feel welcome and valued.

Our organization is dedicated to providing a harassment-free event experience for everyone. We do not tolerate harassment in any form. Event participants, vendors, or sponsors violating these rules may be expelled from the event without a refund at the discretion of the event organizers.

Harassment includes offensive verbal comments related to gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion, political views, technology choices, economic status, health care choices; deliberate intimidation; stalking; following; harassing photography or recording; sustained disruption; inappropriate physical contact; and, unwelcome sexual attention.

Paid sponsors and vendors are also subject to the anti-harassment policy. Anyone asked to stop harassing behavior is expected to comply immediately. Event organizers may take any action deemed appropriate, including warning the offender or expulsion from the event with no refund.

If you are being harassed, notice someone being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact a member of event staff immediately. Event staff will be happy to help participants contact security or local law enforcement, provide escorts, or otherwise assist those experiencing harassment to feel safe for the duration of the event. We value your attendance.

We expect all participants, staff, volunteers, sponsors, and vendors to follow these rules at all events.
