Summer Strength Challenge

We’re ready to launch the Get Your Rear in Gear® Summer Strength Challenge!

On April 29, we’re starting a six week Summer Strength Challenge* for anyone Summer Strength Challengelooking to build strength at any fitness level. Thanks to a grant from Get Your Rear in Gear – Kansas City, WeBuild4Life Cancer Wellness and Fitness Center in Kansas City has put together this six week program for anyone interested in building strength and working toward wellness.

Each week, trainers Sami and Jerry Mansfield will introduce a new exercise challenge, including modifications  inclusive of any fitness level and physical limitations. They will also be on hand (via Facebook and Instagram comments) to answer any questions you may have about the exercises, modifications, nutrition tips, and recovery.

Sami and Jerry are the founders of the WeBuild4Life in Kansas City, MO. They also own and oversee Cancer Wellness for Life, a consulting company that works with hospitals, non-profits and individuals on wellness and exercise programs and resources for cancer survivors and their caregivers. Together they have nearly two decades of cancer coaching.

Whether it’s helping patients maintain strength after a diagnosis, survivors rebuild their bodies after treatment, or long term survivors discover their physical potential post-cancer, WeBuild4Life is prepared for the unique story and needs of every cancer survivor that walks through their door. As a part of the grant from funds raised at Get Your Rear in Gear – Kansas City, WeBuild4Life is also providing scholarships to Kansas City colorectal cancer patients wishing to regain strength and wellness after a cancer diagnosis.
